One thing about his AFLAC autos that I noticed is that most of them are susceptible to fading. If yours is one of those sell, if it is a strong bold auto then hold.

Actually, the thing with those is not fading. I pulled one straight out of a pack on release and it was spotty all through it. It seems like either the pen he was using to sign was running out of ink or that the surface of the card had inconsistent gloss coverage and it made it like signing on the reverse side of a piece of poster board with the wax that catches certain pen strokes and leaves others behind. There are almost like "bubbles" or something on that one I pulled, but it hasn't deteriorated one bit since i've had it. It's just not a very pretty and crisp auto, but I wouldn't worry about it going away.

I think most versions are like mine and there are some sellers that have been using some pretty creative scans to hide it. I've seen a few that even looked like somebody retraced them with a thin blue sharpie.

They were terrible to get signed. They have way too much gloss on them. The sharpie looks sponged up on all of them I have seen so far.

Agree with Pred, those cards look horrible signed. What was Topps thinking having them sign glossy cards like that. STUPID STUPID STUPID. You would think they would have known better.

Well its the reason I never got one.Every single one I saw of Purke or Beavan I wanted were ugly and looked like the auto was just not going to last.Maybe I am too OCD but I will not buy a card that I feel the auto won't last on.Its also why I never got not one of the sweet spot autos out of last years product.I got a few of the ones signed with the gold paint pen type marker but none in pen.I knew right away they were just like the cheap balls they sell at walmart and not real leather hide so I knew they would not last.Sadly from personal experience with those same cheap balls.
