Holy August MMA schedule

Just takign a look at teh scheduled cards for August and wow, just wow!


August 1st - Affliction 3 (Fedor/Barnett, Mousasi/Sobral, Belfort/Santiago, Buontello/Yvel, Hieron/Daley, Gomi/Oliveira, D.Lauzon/Hordecki)

August 8th - UFC 101 (Penn/Florian, Silva/Griffin, Sadallah/Hendricks, Almeida/Grove)

August 9th - WEC 42 (Bowles/Torres, Mizugaki/Curran, Garcia/Massouh, Benevidez/Cruz)

August 15th - Strikeforce (Carano/Santos, Riggs/Diaz 2, Overeem/Werdum, Thompson/Melendez)

August 29th - UFC 102 (Couture/Nog, Vera/Hamill, Jardine/Silva, Marquardt/Maia)

I left off Sengoku 9 since I assume most people here dont have any clue who guys like Marlon Sandro, Kazou Misaki, Gono and Fujita are.

Im only ordering 2 on teh above in August. Providing Strikeforce is reasonably priced, I promised my wife she can get the Cyborg/Carano fight. Plus Diaz/Riggs 2 is going to be sick. Especially after those 2 guys fought at the Hospital after their first fight.

I am leaning towards Affliction 3 over both UFCs though. The UFC's kind of leave me flat as after the main events, and the Marquardt/Maia fight, no real implications. Plus after UFC 100 its going to be hard to justify spending teh same money to watch Amir Sodallah instead of Henderson!

In Canada we usually get WEC for free on TSN2 (equivilent to ESPN2) so that saves a few $$$.

Which ones are you guys ordering?

I will watch them all. Won`t buy them, but will watch them all either on the internet or at friends. It is going to add a great month of MMA though!
