Absolutely I'd remove the auto . Much like Triple Thread Cards w great patches and a sticker auto.

With that said a Griffey Barrell card is nice anyway it comes

Thanks! It's definitely worth a lot more with the auto and the bottom line is its his auto on card or sticker so that's all that matters to me. Also, I believe this is the only set of Griffey make which has his autograph and nameplate logo bat barrel piece on the same card so if that's the case its that much more valuable and rare. Either way SUPER sweet card and worth a TON!

No, not yet but I'm hopeful it will come soon! Thundering24 mentioned he talked to a Topps Rep weeks ago and they said that they should be getting a jersey for Griffey by the time Dynasty comes out in November. I hope this is the case but you know they will eventually need to get a jersey since they will be coming out with that set and Griffey will have patches in his cards. Thanks!

Great card. But why are you putting so much emphasis on how much it's worth and how much you paid for it? We all know it's rare and how it must have been expensive. Just beating us over the head with it.

Look, great card, glad you got it. Try a more humble approach next time. Then you asked people for their thoughts, and when they replied with their opinions of the card, you then refuted and defending the card. Opinions come two ways. If you don't want opinions being critical of a card you love, don't ask for them. Just share for the sake of sharing.

I had had a jeter auto barrel and a nameplate barrel the nameplate has sold for more which I did not understand. I did a lot of research on this too. I think some collectors prefer just the barrel. Your card from that set is very collected and I think you got a great price

Well said Tony! I think any of us that go after larger PC pickups, or any PC pickups for that matter, have at least a couple cards we "overpaid" for. PC cards have more than just a dollar value too

That's what makes this hobby so fun is how much we can enjoy adding cards to our collections beyond the dollar values of the cards.
