Teheran's Autos were around $30...or so I thought, check out what the last one went for!

Phil, I noticed the same thing yesterday. It seems that Teheran lower end stuff has really moved up. An Xfractor from 2009 non-auto went for $29.99 in the last couple days. His base chrome autos which were going for $25-30 are now seeing major life. Even his refractor autos are warming.

His high end autos however....they are about half of what they were at the end of last season.

Orange Ref Autos in a BGS 9 were hitting as high as $800, now around $400 or lower.
Gold Ref Autos were $500+...not so much now.

Either that is a great opportunity to buy or the high end bubble burst.

My current stash (there is some duplication between raw and bgs 9.5 cards...need to clean that out at some point)

On Jan 24th an Orange sold for $350 BO and on Jan 25th a GOLD sold for $325 BO. So yeah he is hot right now

I honestly think the high-end bubble burst, I just don't see Orange Refractor Autos of anyone being sustainable at the $800-level when their base chromes are selling for $30. Likely there were a few big buyers driving up the price on the high-end stuff.

If this is the case...then we might be seeing the resurgence. Julio was invited to Spring Training, so hopefully he impresses. A couple nice strikeouts of Arod and Derek Jeter usually get the attention of people.

His prices will tank in the end if that's the case. Hopefully, the Braves will project him as a starter even if he starts off in the pen (a la Aroldis Chapman), and continues to fuel the hype.

I haven't heard any scout or talent evaluator talk about Teheran as a reliever. There was always the risk with Neftali Feliz and Aroldis Chapman, but I haven't even heard this discussed with Julio.
