One of ones are always tough to price its extraordinarily easy to drive prices up on them, see case in point where the guy who looks to be shilling raised the price $1K+ by himself.

Except that there are two other buyers with 1000+ feedback that both bid $2000+. No doubt that the 28 fb bidder is a shiller, but as long as there are 2 other legit people bidding massive $ it really isn't that big a deal.

To be fair we have no clue who these other bidders are even though they have 1K+ feedback, how they got that feedback, who they are or why they're even bidding.

Its worth being extra suspicious when the $ starts getting high. :|

On the other hand if there were three or four other similar cards with similar bidding results the pricing would probably be more accurate.

That card is way overpriced. I bought the Ted Williams Bat version from that set for roughly $225. Granted, it's not Ruth, but still.

I understand your point that we don't necessarily know the other two bidders but we also don't know "for sure" that the 28 FB bidder is a shiller. It looks like it and probably is, but nothing is for sure. Obviously I would take extra precaution with a card of that value but I also don't own a single card that I bought for triple digits so i dont have much experience in $2k cards
