He gets a start on Saturday. List those puppies if you're feeling lucky.

This will be his first start where he'll be throwing his 88 MPH split finger to go with his 96 MPH heat and two plane slider. Bailey now has five MLB pitches, but location will be critical.

I am excited to see if the splitter can keep people from sitting on his heat. He has been striking out a ton of guys in Louisville with it. It has out pitch potential.

Hopefully he can stay a while. Took a look at his aaa stats and he was doing very well there so it's time to do make a push for a spot in the rotation! Dave

As much as I think Baker's a horrible decision maker, that isn't on him.

This will be his second MLB start this year and he should stay a little longer this time due to Edinson Volquez now being out until the All-Star game.

He's been an absolute monster in the minors for the last few weeks. I'm not sure why he struggles so much in the bigs.

He's gotta be out of options soon?

As out of options as David Price, who is months older than Bailey.

And i'm telling you guys, the new splitter he has should provide him with the chance to pitch more productively at the MLB level. Guys working him into fastball counts and his inability to control his other pitches made him helpless against fastball hitters. That shouldn't be a problem anymore.
