Got my power back on thurs while a lot of my family n friends still have no power in flushing, l.i., manhattan, s.i., etc...

Throughout all this, gas stations are either closed or lines are up to 15-20 blocks or worse...

I'm down to a quarter tank myself so only time I'd drive is to folks to bring food n necessities since they don't want to leave their house due to robberies n stealing gas from parked cars is what we r hearing from other areas.. Thankfully, their neighborhood is a close knit area but one can't never be too cautious...

For those who are ok, I ask that you guys be patient and do what you can to help the less fortunate..and to check up on your family n friends residing in ny/nj.

Be patient if you bought something from NYC/nj sellers. Worst feeling is some ass asking where his cards are at times like this...

Be safe to those who are in NY/nj and stay strong.

Just got my power back last night. Gas station lines are still running 2-3 hours long, and now they are checking license plate numbers before you are allowed to buy. My body shop has been a triage center for insurance claims and it has been an absolute madhouse. Hope others in this area make out ok, as some areas were hit way worse than mine.

Hey bro...Parents didnt lose power and I think everything is OK in my neighborhood at home. Lots of trees down etc. but we lucked out. Evan had no power for a week (he's living in the city now) and it pretty much missed me in Philly so not too bad for me.
