BA's first Hot Sheet goes live today. Some of the names I expect to see are (in no particular order):

LaPorta
Cowgill
Reddick
A. Jackson
Posey
G. Parra
Heyward
Villalona
Hanson
G. Infante
Reckling
Cobb
Friedrich
Hellickson
K. de la Cruz
D.J. Mitchell
Drabek
Gamel

Any others I missed?

EDIT: I'm almost certain that Posey and Villalona will take the top 2 spots.

Gamel, Bumgarner? They may not have the insane line BA looks for but they'll be in the Team Photo at least.

Gamel, definitely. I knew there would be at least one big name I would forget to list.

Lawrie? Not as sure there.

How are his numbers not worthy?

6 hits, 5 of which are for extra bases. 2 triples in that bunch.

1:1 K:BB ratio (K's are the important stat here, IMO)

We are looking at the week at hand here, and those numbers certainly seem worthy.

Actually, the first Hot Sheet takes the first two weeks into account, if memory serves.

Good solid numbers, and he may make the back end of the Hot Sheet, but not the 1-10 range, I'm almost positive there.

reddick is a sure thing. 4 jacks already and hitting over .400. Justin Jackson has an outside chance with a .350 average and 3 stolen bases

Posey #1, Alvarez likely #2. Jordan Danks should be quite high.

Jarrod Parker in my opinion should be on the list with his 11/1 K:BB ratio. However, he only has 9 innings pitched in two starts.

I like Alvarez as much as the next guy, but two games in the space of two weeks will NOT get you on the Hot Sheet.

He went 3-4 opening night (HR, 4 RBI) and 2-4 last night (HR, 6 RBI), but went 1-20 in between.

Agree that Alvarez had two nice games only. Both monster games but not enough

J Niese struggled too

Does anyone here think Posey WON'T be # 1? If not, why not?

Not sure if you are joking, but this is at least the second time I've seen you adamantly say that Gilmore sucks.

I'm curious why?
