Hottest Team in Baseball?

Who is the hottest team in baseball right now? Perhaps the Giants with 36 straight innings without a run (Can Sirperfect Matt Cain continue) or maybe the Yankees flexing their muscles?

It's tough to argue with how well the Giants are pitching right now, heck even the vaunted Phillies staff didn't thow four consecutive shutouts. I love to see some All-Star buzz for Vogelsong too, he's had an amazing year.

Uhh, hello? Have you watched what the Angels have done? 25-8 since May 22nd, including winning 2 out of 3 from the Giants. 9-2 in their last 11. The rangers are 9-2 in their last 11 as well but they got to beat up on the Astros and Padres last week while the Angels took on the Giants and Dodgers during interleague.

Trout has made a difference and the starting 5 of Weaver, Haren, Wilson, Santana and Richards is one of the toughest staffs in the league.

Is trout eligible for ROY still? If he is i think you have to give him the nod or Yu Darvish so far?

Hoping Cain can make it 5 straight shut out baseball against 1st place teams! And of course our beloved bullpen

Its also nice seeing two Giants pitchers on ESPNs cy young predictor (Cain at 2 and Bumgarner at 3). Usually Lincecum is on that list

The Cubs are the hottest team in baseball. They didn't allow a single hitter to make contact yesterday.

Well the Rangers and Angels are both 8-2 in their last 10, best in baseball. Although in a smaller window 4 straight shutouts is, obviously, impeccable.

Aside, it's funny looking at ESPN's standings page. The entire AL East is at .500 or above, with the smallest gap between first and last of any division, so they are apparently the most competitive division, and they all lost at least their most recent game.

While it's impressive to have 4 straight shut outs, the Dodgers aren't exactly playing great at the moment. 1-9 in their last 10.

The Giants have some cute players, but the hottest? I'd have to go with the Yankees, there are some hot guys on that team

I'd say the Angels are the hottest overall team right now, but the Giants' starting pitchers are the hottest right now.
