They will not finish with the worst record in the MLB I would put money on that.

They absolutely smashed a double-A pitcher tonight. I will take credit for the reverse-jinx .

Anyone watching know why Bedard left after 4? Did he get hurt?

After tonight they will only be 0.5 game worse than the Blue Jays.

Altuve is a quality player.... probably will have the best full season.

I just think Bedard will break his arm is 3 places before giving up an earned run. 0.00 era, top that!

Bedard has been roughly a league average SP for the pqst two seasons (out all of 2010), and was only marginally better in 2009.

I would argue that Harrell is a better SP and that Altuve is EASILY the best player on the team.

he had a 4 season stretch of being a top lefty (06ish-09) but his arm is gone.. even then there were injury parts 3 years worth of work in that time).. next injury will be the last I think. Might be biggest ****** in baseball.

when your best player is shorter than Ben Stiller you know you're getting a nice draft pick. ;) All jokes aside maybe a few young guys catch fire.

I like the future of the organization and that they have Bo Porter as manager. They'll need time, but I think they're doing well in building for the future.

The Astros are building a farm system and have some pretty promising guys in the pipeline. they will need to find some young pitching but they have some offensive weapons coming throught the system.

Same can be said about the Cubs.

I was at the Astros/Mariners home opener Monday and they made a big deal introducing everybody on both teams before the game. The crowd in Seattle lustily booed Bedard. He seemed amused.

I've watched several of the Astros games this year and Porter has made some really bad moves regarding when to pull a pitcher. I mean I understand some of it because that bullpen is AWFUL. But still.
