I actually took the name from a user on an early card site (maybe Becektt) who claimed his father was a guy who worked for one of the car magazines. I feel like he may have tried to or actually ripped me off in a transaction. I liked the name and ended up registering it on any site I joined from that point forward if it was available. I favored the 60s/70s American Muscle cars by Dodger/Plymouth and owned a couple along the way as well.

It's now mostly a faded memory and if I ever do get another car like that, it's probably going to be a GM. Mostly because I have already owned several Mopars and they have gotten ridiculously expensive.

When I read magicpapa's obituary I thought it was cool that he was actually a magician.

For me, it's because I play the banjo. Or as an old timer from Appalachia might call it, a "banjar". Mine is a 1925 4-string tenor banjo, which belonged to my dad.

So how did all you FCB'ers pick your screen name?
If you didn’t know, he used to send auto’d playing cards with deals or his famous freebies he’d send to members…

JV would be my initials and Haste is my preferred speed! When I do "bedroom fun" I play the Rocky theme song, and I always finish before the drum part kicks in.

My name is my actual name and the first letter of my last name. Sad to read the news of MagicPapa. He was always charming with a great sense of humor.

I used to bowl years ago, and since I had a wicked hook (stand left throw right and hit the pins hard) one of my teammates started calling me "Pinbreaker"..

When e-mail came out, I grabbed AOL, Geocities, hotmail, gmail, yahoo, and continued to use the screen name when I joined Beckett, FCB, Blowout, etc.

So if someone needs to get ahold of me, they just have to think of "Pinbreaker" and send it to whatever site.

My High School Spanish teacher suggested I go by "Juan Gris" the day everyone had to choose their class names. It's the Spanish version of my first and last names as well as a famous Spanish painter that lived from 1887-1927. The nickname stuck with friends/family and has been used for all my usernames the last 25+ years.

But how did you pull that out of your behind? I've always been curious about your name. It cannot have been totally random right? So what's the genesis of zyceoa?
