How did you pick your screen name?

my first car was a 1953 plymouth cranbrook
picked this up when i got home from the service.

my first car was 54 Desoto dad bought new- my mother had driven --still have - trying to get rebuilt.

My High School Spanish teacher suggested I go by "Juan Gris" the day everyone had to choose their class names. It's the Spanish version of my first and last names as well as a famous Spanish painter that lived from 1887-1927. The nickname stuck with friends/family and has been used for all my usernames the last 25+ years.

My French nickname was Mr. Blot. I kinda wish that had stuck now. Maybe I can revive it 30 years later.
