I am wondering how all of you memorabilia collectors on the board acquire your pieces. I buy a lot of pieces from my local shop, and also go to shows with Seth. The only eBay items I buy are mini-helmets and baseballs. My favorite seller is sidsgraphs for those who do not know of him. Also, I periodically buy signed baseballs from trustworthy websites. My favorite of those is the Cal Ripken Jr. Signed 1983 World Series Ball serial #'d 4/83.

Has anyone found unique items like this on the web? I don't like to buy from expensive sites like the big manufacturers. Anyone else have info or favorite places to buy from? I will get a picture of the Ripken signed ball if anyone is interested.

I buy from EBAY, Ironclad, MLB, and from the Seattle Mariners.

I try and research before I make a purchase..

There is a site "GameUsedUniverse.com" that I need to join as well..

as far as unique...

Here's a Ken Griffey Jr. first base glove that I got from Ted Buhner.. (Jay's Brother)

As for getting items from the Mariners.. On Saturday games, they have auctions for Mariners Care where you can win game used items from various Mariners and other teams..

I got these last year at one game..

Those are some very nice jerseys. Very eye appealing!

The two from Oakland were the whole uniform.. Jersey, Pants, and hat.. I got them for $200 each.. and the Ryan Feierabend Auto'd jersey I got for $250..

I hope they have some items I can pick up tonight as well..

One gold mine is the last day of the season. The team along with the visiting team do not want to carry their stuff home with them. You can get gloves, hats, bats, locker name plates, spring training uniforms, and shoes on this day.

The only thing that the Baybears keep are jerseys.

So far I've bought all of my White Sox game-used jerseys and bats from Ebay, although I haven't bought any expensive items. Most of the items I buy originally come from the annual White Sox garage sale that I never seem to make it to.

Ebay.com
GameUsedUniverse.com
AuthenticGamers.com
PCMSports.com
Cubs Convention/Cubs Auctions
Auction Houses

These are the sources I use for my Zambrano/Soto memorabilia. PCM has Soto signed to a contract so they have a lot of his stuff. Zambrano stuff is harder to find so the Cubs Convention and Ebay are best. If you are looking for game used stuff you should visit, GameUsedUniverse.com. There is a pretty good chance someone will have what you are looking for or will be able to point you in the right direction.
