There is a tie...For example, the ravens/colts was 44 in my pool. If the Colts had won 30 - 14, this is neither more or less than 44. Who wins/loses/ties?

Unless you win, the Bookie don't get his 5-10%. If your guy is taking that on pushes, I'd find a new guy... or THE INTERNET!

3:1 is very generous on parlays of 2. I gotta find your guy.

that is ideally what a bookie wants:
50% money this way
50% money that way
they collect the 10% juice
lines are set by professionals hoping to get equal action both ways and then scooping up the vig/juice/10%
kentuckyderby said:yes you do
when you place your bet in Vegas you pay the 10% up front
if you lose, it's gone
it isn't a "tax" on a win
it's a "tax" on the loss
the juice is on a loss not on the win
trust me
I'm talking Vegas betting and not some dude taking bets from his couch
If he is taking bets from his couch, he should be charging 10% juice on the losses
Ties/Pushes are "washes" in parlays but shouldn't be in single bets
I live here in Vegas and have yet to not collect my full bet on a push. Some bookies might do that but most sportsbooks don't, at least the ones I know of.kentuckyderby said:yes you do
