My freshman year in college, I once had then Maryland Terrapin (and later NBA player) Walt Williams sign a 4 X 6 photo I had taken...he signed with the wrong jersey number. "Black", as he was known by his teammates, was not the sharpest pencil in the box.

That being said, Russell clearly overlooked the giant Dr. J afro and proceeded to sign. Of course, maybe Dr. J got these first and forgot to sign...so Russell signed twice.

Or my conspiracy theory... the seller rubbed off Dr. J's sig and either had Russell sign again or signed it himself!
