That was the year they got sued for doing exactly this. Look at almost any 2010 UD card. I guess they figured if they were going to flagrantly break the law, they might as well go big.

So is this the only Rose cards with a phils logo since the 80's?

What they did is only show part of the logo. Every card from that set showed a portion of the logos.

And didn't they also argue that they actually made the cards in 2009 when they still could do it?

No it isn't. It doesn't show the whole P on the hat. That's what they were trying to do. Just show pieces of the logo.

It was worth a shot but it didn't work out well for them.

I stand corrected. I looked on eBay and found more cards where they showed all the logos like this. This is what they did for most of the sets:

I had a handful of the base cards and they chose photos where the whole logo wasn't visible and they made no mention of "Phillies" but always said Philadelphia.

You sure? Got a pic of the reverse? The other guy (Padre ?) is clearly airbrushed...

Not surprising at all.

These were only inserted as chase cards in 2010 UD Series 1, which had to be pulled from the shelves after UD was sued by MLBP. I wonder if they kept or destroyed the boxes/cases.

So there's probably fewer than 75 of these out there maybe. That makes sense.

Yes, the 2010 Exquisite is an exquisite set, and rare. Base cards have sold for hundreds.
