Classic first inning of the year for Jhoulys Chacin:

* Collin DeLome grounds out to first baseman Jeff Kindel.
* Drew Meyer grounds out, pitcher Jhoulys Chacin to first baseman Jeff Kindel.
* Jhon Florentino grounds out, third baseman Darin Holcomb to first baseman Jeff Kindel.

Think he will have troubles in Coors?

Update 1: Yikes...errors galore. Still no ER for Chacin through 2.

Update 2: Through 3 innings Chacin has grounded out 6 batters. Still no ER, or walks with one strikeout. Not too shabby.

Update 3: Trouble in the 5th. 1 ER so far and several hits.

Update 4: Gets out of trouble with a fly-out and SO with two men on. Hopefully they will leave him in.

Update: They sent him back out for the 6th...he quickly retired two batters but then walked one and was taken out of the game.

My grade of the start: B-

He showed good poise throughout the game (especially in the 5th)...His 2 seam FB was his primary SO pitch (according the the audio announcer). I would have liked to see a bit better command, but overall, good debut.
