Some of you are patient. I file the NPB on the 8th day. A week is plenty of time for the buyer to pay.

Especially when they don't communicate with you beforehand.

i bid in bulk; i pay in bulk. yes, there's paypal, but if you're bidding on 100s of auctions/time (across multiple ids; not to mention listing/shipping 100s of auctions/wk across various ids), honestly, i don't have the time to pay each seller ASAP. most are paid within 1-3 days of auction close, but sometimes, it's taken as long as 10 days (usually b/c i'm traveling, mom has a health problem which reqs. hospitalization etc.). clearly anyone taking .5 secs to look @ my fb can see that i'll pay. i NEVER reply to invoices + i NEVER email sellers to tell them i'll pay- unless it's some delay. sellers who nag (like the guy who sent 5 emails in 6 hours AFTER auction close) lose my business.

as a seller, i state i'd like payment in 5 days, but in reality, i wait 8. i file the npb + if someone needs more time, i'll give it to them. if they don't pay within 15 days, i close the npb, file the strike, + relist. i think being so patient is why i have so many repeat buyers.
