basically if someone has an idea of how many sealed sets were created i could divide that number by 80 ( the number of different autos on the checklist as it was one auto per sealed set)

So, lets say there was 100,000 sets made. Thats what, 1250 each?

Do you think there were more? Less sets made??

That's a good estimate. I was going to say at the minimum 1000 of each auto, and possibly up to 1500 of each.

I just went and looked at my 63 Zambrano and the autograph serial numbers range from 8807-9959. Therefore, my estimate is about 1200.

The thing is, theres not. Well, not yet.

I know my local shop has a coupple cases of them. And I'm sure that a lot of others are sitting on cases as well. I'd be willing to bet that half the print run, if not more, are stil lsealed and unopened.

Good?

I thought one was horribly trimmed and the other had a massive factory line paralell to the bottom edge??? I mean, I'm not current with there value, but is that price good for rather poor quality copies?

you are actually referring to the same card, i bought one that was trimmed and a line thing on bottom but i got a refund as the seller was very nice about it and didnt even really question me, then i bought 2 good ones

Sometimes, NOT being serial numbered helps a card's value more than being serial numbered or having a known quantity.

ahh icic, that makes sense. I have always wanted to bust a case of that in hopes of hitting a miguel. Your local shop charge alot for them?

I would assume around 1250 copies of each (based on past discussions and estimates.) I think that the Zambrano's offer as good an insight as any.

To those who think that is a lot, keep in mind that for most of these guys it is their only RC Autograph, and unquestionably their best card in existence. With a guy like Miggy who could go down as one of the best hitters ever, $500 is not much at all.
