Just curious.
I love to get rookie cards signed in person. I go to Spring Training each year for the past 3 years or so to help add to my collection. I also find myself at about 10-20 games (San Diego) each year to get Padres and visiting players. I'd have to say the best addition to my collection this year was David Wright on a broken minor league bat (not his bat, just a generic bat that was broken at a minor league game). Why did I get his autograph on a bat when I collect auto RCs? I didn't have a RC of his when I spotted him. The same thing happened to me with Mike Stanton this year (I tried to trade another guy there for the autograph he got on a RC--I was going to give him my signed bat--no dice). My second biggest addition to my collection was finally meeting Matt Williams in person and getting him to sign a RC for me. Anyway, any other autograph seekers out there. I read these boards all the time, so I know of a few. Just curious to see if there are more.
Thanks,
Anthony
