I'm on the site almost everyday. I use the my collection page to keep track of my collection. I also like to watch their box busters and read their articles. But I don't post much or look at their threads much at all.

Beckett? Never. Waste of time (mine), waste of space (becketts website), waste of air (the members on that site).

:benson: OUCH! Wow - didn't know I was a waste of air! That's horrible news. I thought I was one of the good guys :)

I have gone there more in the past month - due to the Topps MCG promotion that I have been enjoying. I have been finding traders whereever possible (including here) and I had to subscribe to the online price guide so I would have some sense of what the values are on the older cards that I otherwise would be getting screwed on in terms of trades (I made one bad move and that was lesson learned). The $6 for the subscription was well worth it in this instance.

I do like some of the features they have added, such as the Organize so you can see everything you have in one snapshot, with prices and what you are looking for, but it is overwhelming to use this with an entire collection and to trade with people. I would otherwise pass on the site. The boards are way to disorganized with all kinds of stuff lumped into one "baseball" board.

I'm there daily as I still use My Organize, and when I blog about the Topps card of the day, I use it to tell me how many of a certain player's card I have in my collection. The kind of collector who uses the boards have changed (from mostly prospecting types to general collectors), but it's still a good read.

I hate to say it, but the Blog often has breaking information. The rest of the site isn't fit for animal consumption.
