Didn't another board member buy it? (The guy with the Rockies superfractors in his sig)? I thought he hinted at it in a recent post...

I just made a sale-trade for the Superfractor of my '09 dreams (Check sig..) and so, there goes Matzek and Wheeler for the next few weeks. That being said, I'm going for the base-set parallels - Great read, but none of my men are in the conversation. Not that they should be; don't see anything too special with them.

I was making a run at it, but the seller said he had an offer of $1000 and I don't think it was Wossa. Unless he got a better offer, I'm betting he probably sold it for $1000 or around there, but did the deal offline to avoid some fees.

Never been there, but they're moving into a bigger building to make room for a big new downtown hotel, in case you were interested. :)

$1000 for a card of a Colorado Rockies pitcher.

Wow!

Name me one Rockies pitcher whose best rookie card sold for more than say...a hundred bucks?

Any reason to believe it was a member, here? I really don't want to let my grasp on that beauty go, just yet.

It's possible, but he didn't mention who it was, but both of Wossas offers were declined. I gues just ask the seller.
