How much $$ do you have in cards?

I might eek out $4K if I sold everything I have left; which isn't too much. Probably at a loss of 75%, too, since a lot of it is the Patrice Bergeron PC and some BGS 10 Blue Refractors which wouldn't get me nearly what I paid for them.

I have a pretty dead on spread sheet of everything except my Josh Beckett PC with what I paid and monthly updated average SVs. I feel like it is pretty accurate and I added a very conservative number for my Beckett PC.

Card were cheap in 1979 when I started, and they are expensive now. Many $$ but great joy!

Probably $1200-$1300 in the gu/autos, with another $300 in rookies/parallels/inserts etc. Most of it is HOF'ers and veterans so the prices don't fluctuate too much.

Clearly I have seen some of your scans Jordan, I have no doubt that you have some great cards and follow ebay closely and have a great understanding of what your stuff is worth. I just don't think that some people realize that ebay value is not always the same as book value and if people did try to sell off their stuff they might not get back what they think they have. It takes quite a collection to have 10,000 worth of cards and I am sorry not everyone has that much. Thats a TON of value.

At one point in 2002 i had about 15 to $20,000 worth in one shoebox alone (sale value). I sold most of it off and had to rebuild in 2006. I can say my collection is no as out of controll as it was. Instead of trying to get everything i wanted i am much more focused and enjoy much less more than i used to.
