I had a thought about Topps going out of business or just closing their doors and saying screw off to everyone with redemptions.

That said, I am guessing I'm in pretty good shape considering I am only due three redemptions and I'm only in for about $100 total.

How about you? How much money or value do you have tied up in redemptions?!

Been waiting on $750-$1000 of Hyun-Jin Ryu cards. Absurd that they can send all his signed redemptions except for Topps Chrome...

$5-10 in a Yan Gomes auto that has was live before I entered the redemption code and 7 weeks later it's still not in my hands.

I'm waiting on a Ryu Lucky redemption. I'm contemplating asking for a 2013 BC blue ref /99 as a replacement. Similar serial numbers, I think they sell for similar amounts, plus I collect blue refs

Does anyone know how to ask for a replacement? I guess just call them?

$0 currently. For modern-style, "we're waiting for the athlete" kind of stuff, I've only had a couple. One was a Sizemore autograph from Goudey or something like that from UD. I got that in a couple weeks. But with Topps I waited over a year for a 2011 Marquee Museum auto of Joe Morgan, who apparently stopped signing that year. They replaced it with Jay Bruce.

Not much actually, I feel that Topps has done a phenomenal job lately...at least in my experience.

The one that's gonna be a kick in the nuts is the Paul George Exquisite RC Autos I snagged thinking they might be redeemed within a few months and I'd have them for playoff time. Needless to say, they're still pending (and have lost a ton of value in the mean time). Maybe his injury will give him time to sign this offseason?

IF I get one, which is rare since I don't rip much wax at all, I sell almost immediately.

IF I see there are Live ones out there, I might redeem it, but even then I usually still sell...

Call or email. But shouldn't they have seeded them all in boxes?
If not, their wrapper odds are bogus.

Probably about two hundred bucks worth, all for my PC so there's no hurry but it kind of takes the excitement away to get a card one to two years after you send in the redemption. Anyone heard any updates on the 2012 five star Felix Hernandez? That's my oldest one I think.
