Well I got to open a box of 2008 Sp Authentic, and pulled an edwin encarnacion auto manufactured letter.
Can someone give me an estimate how much it would cost to put together a nameplate of a decent but not really expensive player, not nesicarily encarnacion?

I did Bill Hall and Milwaukee Brewers nameplates. Most of the letters were around $5-8 plus shipping. The L's are shortprinted to #/25 and they were about $20 each.

You would have to do your own research to see which players/cards and how many have shorter print numbers. Also, being a 2008 product there are not as many being listed on ebay as there were when they first came out. It would be a long project for you.

If you're willing to be patient and you go with SP Authentic, it probably would be $5-$6 per card. Unfortunately, Will Venable was Finest w/ a million different parallels. The 7 base were easy, Refractors /75 easy, Blue Refractors /25 a bit tougher, Gold Refractors /10 much tougher and more expensive, Red Refractors /5 are a work in progress and never pop up anymore and cost around $30-$40 apiece, and the Xfractor 1/1's are, well, impossible - I snagged the only one I have been able to find.

Good luck!

My Sizemores were way overpriced. For some reason there was a fair amount of competition on these compared to his other stuff. The ones #/10 were $50-60 and #/25 were 20-40, especially in the first months after release. When the set first came out I expect them to be half that. And it was months before an 'I' appeared. So you never know until you actually look.

Entirely depends on the player, set, and #ing of the card.

You can have this for $55 if you are interested.
