How rare are the Hosmer and Lawrie Bowman Chrome SP Autos?

Its long been my belief that the products Topps sends through distributors & that they send to direct hobby accounts has vastly different content. All of these reports from guys breaking mass case quantities are getting product through Topps' distributor program. I move a good quantity that I obtain directly through Topps, and while I haven't tracked it & don't really care to waste my time doing so, the big names & redemptions in question have popped up in my customers' breaks from my shipments. Not just in this case, but time & time again. Last year, after seeing 5 Stras minis come out of my 4 cases of Ginter, I started messaging guys on Ebay that had them, and I couldnt find a single one that pulled thiers from a distributor case, only hobby direct. Im not trying to sell my products to you guys, and I wont, just stating my opinion. We turn out huge hits from virtually every product we get from Topps. Coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. Just throwing it out there.

The bottom line is this. If you think that Turner/Lawrie/Hosmer have Star Potential, these are going to be the ones. I was high on Turner coming into the year, but he didn't impress with the Tigers. Still, all three could turn out to be very desirable down the road.

I got my Strasburg mini from a blaster from Target.

Did you ask topps about Turner, he's the one that has said he hasn't signed anything.

If you happen to get a response from either player, I sincerely doubt either one recalls how many. They have much more important things to think about.

Especially Lawrie. None are live and according to Topps they're not even signed yet. Crazy the prices people are paying for the redemptions.

Yeah I have one that I have redeemed on topps website but I figured I would take a stab at another one.

But not at $190 I am not.

Thats $190 for a base auto redemption.

Being just outside of TO, hes going to be the player I follow and its not like he has a ton of cards out there.

But I cant justify spending anything on his cards right now.

When I bought my redemption, I thought I was nuts for spending $80.

Yeah at $192 with 9 hours to go for a base is a tad out of control. I thought I would've been able to wait so I didn't buy in when they we're in the $80-100 range. Hell when these first came out somebody sold a blue redemption for $67.00. There's a 42 card lot of base on right now at $122.50 with 3 days 9 hours to go.
