I have a bit of a dilemma: I broke a case of 2007 UD USA baseball a year or so ago and still have most of the lower end auto cards. I have cherry picked through them and am keeping all of the ones that interest me (example: Matt Harvey Red Auto Jsy /100, (2) Blake Beavan Red Auto Jsy /100, etc...), and am left with 75+ different USA auto's that I need to sell. I have them listed below:

Black Auto's /595:
-(2) Matt Dominguez
-Michael Main
-J.P. Arencibia
-(2) Julio Bourbon
-(2) Hunter Morris
-Jarrod Parker
-(2) Tim Alderson
-Neil Ramirez
-Justin Jackson
-(3) Tommy Hunter
-(2) Nick Hill
-Daniel Moskos
-Victor Sanchez
-Jake Arrieta
-Zach Cozart
-Wes Roemer
-Nick Schmidt
-Matt Newman
-Daniel Florriaga-Matra

Blue Auto's /275:
-Nick Hill
-Zack Cozart
-Jarrod Parker
-Tommy Medica
-(2) Matt Newman
-Tommy Hunter
-(2) Preston Clark
-Cole St. Clair
-Wes Roemer

Red Auto's /100:
-Nick Schmidt 100/100

Black Auto/Jsy /295:
-(2) Matt Newman
-Daniel Florriaga-Matra
-Tommy Medica
-Darwin Barney
-Todd Frazier
-Kevin Rhoderick
-Nick Hill
-Jake Arrieta
-Michael Main
-Jarrod Parker
-Pedro Alvarez

Blue Auto/Jsy /150:
-Nick Schmidt
-Tommy Hunter
-Casey Weathers /125

Youth 2004 Junior Auto /475:
-Hank Conger
-Andrew Mccutchen
-Sean O'Sullivan
-Brandon Snyder

Black Dual Auto's /295:
-(2)Preston Clark/Tommy Medica
-Julio Bourbon/Michael Main

Blue Dual Auto's /150:
-Todd Frazier/Justin Jackson
-Darwin Barney/Mike Moustakas
-Julio Bourbon/Michael Main

Their are a few more, but that is the gist of it. I am really not sure how to list these on ebay, any advice would be great.

Definitely do NOT list them in one big lot. I think your best bet is to sell individually but sell dupes as lots (i.e Dominguez /595 could be sold together and I don't think you'd lose out much).

My only reservation about listing them individually is that most of them would not get above $5 or so making the listing price that much more of an issue. Also, many wouldn't sell.

Yes, but you could also make more in terms of S/H. I might get hated on for this, but if people are charging $3 for shipping (not bad at all), they are making at least a buck. That adds up.

Also any of the ones that you think wouldn't sell, I would list in one big, cheap lot.

Good luck.

Actually, I would have to list shipping prices at $4.25+ to make a buck for profit; regular shipping from Canada to the US costs $3.25 :(, so in my regular auctions, I am loosing 25 cents on shipping alone.

you're right, you might get hated on for that :) When I ship cards, it generally costs me $2.50-$2.75, give or take a little. I used to charge $3 for shipping, but for some reason, people would get mad and say I charged too much, which is really dumb in my opinion. But I moved it down to $2.75 to make buyers happy. I could just be one of those sellers that throws the card in an envelope and calls it good, or I could even go cheap and send first-class mail in a bubble-mailer to save money. But I don't, I always send bubble-mailer parcel post with delivery confirmation, with AT LEAST 2 toploaders to protect the card on the inside.
So yeah, at least for me, $3 would not mean $1 profit. I try to not profit from shipping. Just my $0.02 :)

Thanks!
Ben

To me, time is money, and I charge for my time.

It takes at least 10 minutes to package up a card well, and I have no problem charging that extra 50 cents for that time.

also a good point... I'm not even including time to package and time to go to the post office... for me, I usually have to go to the post office during my work shift, on a lunch or something... some people would also say they charge for fees (PayPal, eBay, etc.) but I don't do that either. I see that as something that just comes off the final price.

Thanks!
