All kidding aside, I would try to find someone close by that would be interested in the cards, or a children's hospital. You are more than likely not going to be able to find many of them. The cheapest might be to use the larger of the flat rate boxes. That might work. Good luck!

Uhh... I had a bonfire with a lot similar to that back in 1996. Looks like a whole bunch of 1991 Fleer in there!!! Woot. :D

I planned on throwing in a set of matches to whoever wins the auction :D

If they were mine, I would already have a youtube video up showing me making a smore with ashes of 89 Topps cards flying in the air, but my dad won't let me do that

Not a bad idea. I may ask the seller of that auction how he planned on shipping hist lot. I remember I sold a lot of roughly 15,000 commons once and I shipped them through UPS. It cost something like $70-$80 just for 15,000.

I actually did that with some 1988 Donruss sans video. A couple years ago I had a whole case of Upper Deck cards shipped to my place via UPS ground and I think it was only $15. This bundle of cards would be much larger. I'm guessing UPS is still the way to go and the $120 shipping quote seems reasonable.
