Record for most RBI's in April is 35. Held by the man in your sig. But I bet you already knew that. :D

Most in any month is 61 I believe (by a Phillie).

Makes 27 (or 35 even) seem like chump change.

Is it considered irony for him to question the record being set when it's currently held by his PC player (at a higher count)?

I assumed it was feigned ignorance to bring attention to the beast known as Juan Gone.

As carlitoson noted, Sam Thompson holds the single month record with 61 in August of 1894. He also holds the record for September with 54 in 1895.

It could be worse, he could be hitting into 30 double plays like Pujols.

You must stop watching Baseball when your boy isn't doing well. May wanna check the stats.

Pujols is projected at 60 strike outs for the season. Howard is at nearly 180.

Howard is projected to produce 120 more outs by striking out than Pujols. That means Pujols can ground into 60 - SIXTY - double plays and still be even with Howard in that number of outs produced.

Thing is, though... Pujols has been on a severe decline in GDP per game. Howard has a much better chance at hitting the over on that SO projection.

Strikeout= 1 out
GIDP= 2 outs

how is this better?

180 strike outs = 180 outs for the season produced.
30 GDP = 60 Outs produced on the season

Sure, GDP takes a baserunner off the paths, but Pujols is just as likely to produce runs by HRs for the season.
