From the other "goals" post:

My collecting goals for 2014 are:

1) Scan all of my Pacific cards and load them in to my photobucket account (
http://s956.photobucket.com/user/pac...?sort=4&page=0)
2) Get to 1800 different Pacific football Jerseys/Autos/Patches. It's a pretty lofty goal, but I think I can get there!
3) Complete atleast 4 sets of Pacific.
4) Build a website for my Pacific collection

My business goals for 2014

1) Get all of my non-common cards organized
2) Build a website to sell my cards on.
3) Sort all of my 2005-current commons by set and get them loaded on to sportlots.

For my collecting goals, I did complete 1 set, 2000 Pacific Game Used Patches. I think I am at 1558 different as it stands now (haven't audited it lately). I didn't get much scanned, so we will see how 2015 goes.

Business-wise, I really didn't get much done on that front, as I took a different direction and went more to a Facebook Commerce on multiple groups.

I wasn't on here this time last year and don't think I did any goals. But this year I did do pretty good on my Thome collection while slacking off on my Phillies cards, vintage cards, and 1973 Topps set. Looking forward to doing goals for 2015.:p

2014 Goals
- Rebuild card buying funds (key!)
Nope! Topps' 15+ RJ Autos in 2014 destroyed this plan.
- find a 2005 UD "4,000 Strikeouts" Auto Card (#/50)
Still haven't seen one.
- find a Superfractor or other unique 1/1 Card
I picked up 3 pack issued 1/1 cards this year, but no Superfractor
- complete 1998 Tek (~23 to go)
Picked up 20 of those 23 this year, just 3 left
- complete 2007 M&M Strikeout sets (90%+ done)
Down to 3 from 294Ks & 8 from 364Ks (98.9% and 97.8)
- keep chipping away at #'d refractors
Picked up '98 Finest & '98 Donruss Crusade green & purple, close enough!

unlikely goals:
- break 4,500 cards. I just don't see it happening, it's just so dry out there on affordable stuff currently.
Had 4,017 in December 13, this December I'm approaching 4,400. Mainly due to all the new 2014 Topps product
- find a 1988 CMC PSA 8 or better. This is a black card that was distributed in cell bags, and RJ was the top card. I have a PSA 7 and doubt many higher exist.
A PSA 8 was listed for $50BIN & it was sold before I even saw it

I don't believe I had any goals this time last year. I think the only one was start a decent player collection and pick up a high end blue refractor of a star.

I started out by picking up a Buxton blue 9.5. Stoked, he was the #1 prospect, but I wanted a major leaguer. Next I picked up Brandon Belt. Good player and UT ex, but not a star. Then I bought the Trout. Then I started a blue 9.5 type set. Finished it this summer.

I started a nice Trout collection, but it never felt like a true pc. All I bought was 9.5's. No raw, game used, or anything.

I've always had a small Stanton collection. I think I had a few autos and one Super, along with the 93 Finest Refractor /10. I started getting a little more serious when I bought the 08 blue for that set. Then the one card I always regretted selling game up for sale - the 2010 BC Top 100 Super. Bought that for way less than I sold it for (I'm now into it for like $85). The I got serious. Got the 2011 Museum auto, some other high end, 9.5's, a mini type set, etc. I think I'm up to 10 1/1's and 20 autos. All high end, no stickers or plates. My goal when I started was to get a knob. Missed out on two now. Hopefully the Five Star will show up soon. Other than that, a bat barrel and mlb logo and I'll have every high end Stanton out there

I added quite a few autos. Some jerseys also. None game used, but I'm fine with that since I wear them. 2015 I plan on getting quite a few of my jerseys lettered.

I could have sworn that I posted some goals in a thread for this year but couldn't find them. I have went over the 90% mark of all Denard Span non 1/1 cards though so that is exciting for me. I also spent a ton less money opening packs and focused more on buying only singles and I have to say that I did a good job not increasing the clutter of cards that I don't need. Still have a decent amount I would like to get rid of, but not adding too much was definitely a success for me.

Did well. can't really complain. Good progress on the Dodgers prospects collection, the Piazza collection, the Pedro collection, etc. Didn't get everything I bid on this year but that's okay and that's life. Biggest "regret" is that another big collector came on the scene this year, they also PC one of the guys I PC, and it's made it incredibly hard. they seem to be on eBay 25 hours a day and are always one step ahead and have an unlimited ceiling in terms of what they can spend. as a result, i've been the underbidder more than in prior years.

other than that, i'm hoping Topps doesn't include Piazza or Pedro in 2015 issues so that I can slow down a bit :)
