Well, Twinsfest is five days away... Time for the Hubert's meet up thread. Sound off if you're going to be there. (And yes, this thread is usually filled with about twenty people saying they'll be there, followed by only the same four of us showing up from the previous year).

Hopefully i'll be there a early to have a few beers. Someone has to pick up Craig's share. If no one supports our beer companies in these hard time, how will they be able to afford those 18 NFL/beer commercials per hour?

I really wanted to go on Friday to meet up with you guys but I'll be at Grand Casino. I'm still hoping some of you will show up on Sunday when I go. :(

You only making it on Sunday, or Saturday too?

I still can't decide what to do about the M & M line on Friday.

Saturday is looking more likely for a "Family Day" although my wife has that look of "Who can we dump the kids off with for the day?" in her eye. My brother and his wife are out of town that weekend, so they are out. :( Wonder what my nephew and his wife are doing on Saturday?

Eh, leave 'em in the car. Kids are resilient, right?

As long as they have their stupid Nintendo DS, the house could be burning down for all they know. But that is an idea...

That's the new version of the Game Boy right?

Back to the topic at hand, though. Who else is joining us at Hubert's? Every year a bunch of people says they will and every year it is Greg, Bo, Ray, and I. Our boy Musial is picking up the slack for Ray now, but we need to add more! All you need to do is walk in and look for the geeky table. Bo will have on a pink polo with a popped collar, I'll be wearing a Harmon Killebrew jersey, and Greg will look like your high school history teacher.

I can't give a definite yes, but as of now I'm planning on being there.

I might go Sunday though so Weimer isn't all by himself.

Not looking that way. He's got stuff going on. I tried to get him to just come down for a burger, but he says (and I have to agree) that driving to Minneapolis from Big Lake is a little much for just a burger. He sends his best though.

What's really funny is that for the past month, I have been learning my way around Facebook, and getting reacquainted with people from college and high school. And across the board, the most used comment towards me is that I look the same. Not like a history teacher, but same old, same old. Just like your history teacher.

LOL... I just looked him up on Facebook and he does look like a high school history teacher. Lucky for him, he doesn't look like mine.

Would I lie!?!

FYI Greg, you already know this but there is nothing wrong with looking like a high school history teacher. My undergrad degree is in history and if I hadn't gone the lawyer route I'd probably be a history teacher myself.
