HUGE milestone: McGwire PC @ 90% COMPLETE thanks to.........

It's official, my McGwire collection is officially 90% complete. The only reason I hit the 90% was thanks to a few great members here. So it's only fitting that the 90% mark was officially reached because some fellow collectors helped me out. Specifically this time it was Jack Straw and docdw25.

Count as of today (I don't count 1/1's in the stat even though I have a bunch because that's not part of my goal):

Have: 5046/5606
Need: 560
% Complete: 90%

This is the order I received the cards in so the final card really was the card that put me at 90%....

Jack Straw sent me this booger. Most PC guys know how hard it is to locate this. Thanks again Jack, we've still got a long ways to go to locate all these varations!!!

90% seems unlikely for just about any player, but for a player with the popularity/card number of Mcgwire, it's nearly unheard of. I'd like to see another player collector with a similar stat.

absolutely sick accomplishment on that percentage with that many total cards out there! takes some serious commitment along with bankroll. I'm sure you must be happy he doesn't have a ton of auto's like most other players.. they may set you back a decent pop each time but if you had to chase 100's of them at 60-100 a pop it would still end up costing you a ton more.

Unbelievable! I do not even know how many total Gwynn cards there are, but 90% to me is the same as 100%...IMPOSSIBLE!
Actually, 80% or 70% is pretty mych a pipe dream. 60% may be attainable!

A very big congratulations! 90% is an unfathomable milestone for most, but to reach that with a guy who has close to 6000 cards and such star power is absolutely ridiculous.

I hope you decide to submit your collection for the upcoming Beckett issue, I wouldn't be surprised if you make the cover.
