I'm no expert on the clippers auto so I did a bit of research knowing that the big boys have a ton of fakes out there that are really good.

What sold me was this: not looking at the auto but the inscription. I looked at a bunch of authentic inscriptions that had "best wishes" in them. The "t" in "best" and the "w" in "wishes" we're spot on!

Not from Connecticut. It was from the estate of a surgeon in the Bay Area.
