I just wanted to publicly thank nyc3. He braved the weather and crowds to get Joe Torre's new book, and was willing to snag an extra signed copy for me despite the fact that the $25 book is going for around $100 on eBay. There's not too many who would happily pass on an easy $75 to help out a fellow FBCer asking nothing in return, and it's truly appreciated!!

What can I say, we Yankee fans are class acts :).

Man your going to ruin our image. It's taken years for us Yankee fans to convince the world we are rude, crude and unintelligent. You might destroy all that in a single gesture. :o

I did once yell at a player until he gave me the finger. Does that count?

Were you drunk, falling over the railing, stealing popcorn from the little kid next to you, spitting down on the lower deck all while making rude gestures at the cotton candy guy? If not you're not helping our image much.

Drunk yes, lets put it this way I laid into Mike Cameron for an entire game cause he kept faking out this little girl during BP like he was going to throw the ball up to her. I think he was hitting .225 at this point and I knew I got him when I yelled "Dont worry honey its rare he even touches a ball these days so let him keep it". He would also stand with his glove kind of bent on his waist in between pitches we kept yelling "Is that how your man likes you to pose" so much so that he would just stand there awkwardly in between pitches.

But I got the finger when he dropped a routine fly and I said "I dont even need to say anything Mike". Thats why I love the bleachers
