If anyone wants this card or is planning on making offers, dont offer $300 or less or the seller will send you a message saying how insulting you are towards his friend who he is selling the card for.

I figured i would save maybe 1 or 2 people from getting mad.

The highest a Hunter 1/1 has sold for is 78.00. This guy wants an insane amount for this card. I'd love to get it, but also have to be realistic.

Did you happen to hit the 90-dollar red BIN?

The Pro Debut? Yeah I have both of his 1/1's. I thought they were cheaper than that. I have all of his 1/1's other than this that I have seen. I have his USA, both Pro Debut, and EEE 1/1.

Wait, I see a Red Auto sold for 90.... Damn. I couldn't afford right then anyway, but dang.

I don't blame the guy for wanting more, but to come back and be insulted or insulted for his friend (whatever his excuse is) is just plain dumb. I know if I owned the card I wouldn't take anything less than $1000, but I am biased.

I know those cards are 1/1s, but lets be honest here-they don't compare to a superfractor auto IMO. Especially Pro Debut 1/1 red parallels, those things pale in comparison to a superfractor auto.

Realistically, what do you think this would go for? I think this is a $250ish card, perhaps $300. I really don't think the seller is crazy at all to not want offers of $300 or less-it is his card, and sometimes with guys like this you have to let the card sit on eBay a few months in order for the seller to realize it isn't worth what he thinks it is. The fact that it is listed at $600 OBO is reasonable, if you ask me(compared to what some list their super autos at).

I do as well, but know that the seller values the card for far more than the 300ish that it should get. If I could get it, awesome. Hunter is a good friend of mine, and I have a pretty sizable collection of him. If it's super over priced, well then I don't get it.

With this mindset, you are in a win-win situation beefycheddar IMO.

At this point, it is just a waiting game. If you can wait it out, and the card doesn't sell for what the seller thinks it will-you should be able to reason with him after a few months in terms of what the value of the card is. As more time goes by, the price that he wants should gradually come down.

On the flip side, if he doesn't budge on the price-or the card sells-you don't seem to be of the mind set that you *have* to get the card. You have enough other rare cards of him to suffice. So yeah, it appears to me that you are in a solid spot either way. Hopefully the super will eventually join the other nice Hunter cards you have.

I own 2 of his game jerseys, 20 batting gloves, 5 bats, a First Base Glove and his Auburn Cleats. I will be selling a lot of that at some point, but I'm satisfied with my collection with or without this card. I personally would rather just wait and buy the unsigned for a ton cheaper since the autograph doesn't mean a ton to me.

Not a bad idea at all. That one should be very affordable. And hey, you never know with the auto-patience could pay off for ya.
