That seems like a good price for the Bonds. I know this McGwire cost me just shy of $100. I've only ever seen one McGwire. All the other ones I've seen of other players though were #'d/100, but that Bonds isn't.

Ross, what did the Frank run? $20 for a bonds seems very cheap. And is yours numbered on the back? It seems some players are and other's aren't.

I grabbed that one on the cheap...has a bit of a diamond cut, but for $7.50 it was worth it to me. This is also unnumbered.

Yea, I decided to "hit" it, even though I sold most of my other steroid players cards...I guess I am finding a soft spot, I bought a high value AROD yesterday. ::facepalm::

It's obvious we can see the McGwire already posted but I was looking through the Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards and looked these cards up out of curiosity as to why some were numbered and some weren't. The insert set only consisted of 8 players and the checklist reads:

1) R. Alomar
2) B. Bonds
3) K. Griffey
4) D. Justice
5) J. Olerud
6) N. Ryan
7) F. Thomas
8) R. Yount

There is no mention of a parallel #ed to 100. Does anyone have any other information?

Beckett Almanac states the same thing. How odd. They list a print run of 3,000 for the art cards. Maybe that's why everyone else is so cheap, and the McGwire cost me much more. I wonder if the McGwire was the art card for the Prototype set, even though there is no mention of it. The prototypes list a print run of 600.

The only thing that could make that card better is if you got Barry to sign it IP.

There is always sticker. I am thinking they know baseball was on the juice only Bug Selig didn't want to admit it back than.
