"I am not a crook " - Pawn shop bargain 20$ - Richard Nixon cut Auto

I stopped in a local pawn shop yesterday.


I came upon a display case with some bobbleheads and a Brett Hull 16x20
i then saw in a little picture frame a Richard Nixon cut auto.


It was signed on the back of a paper receit. It was inscribed by the personi who obtained it "4-2-86 Manahawkin Burger King"
and one on the bottom that says " Stephen ate with R. Nixon"


The auto is untouched by the obtainees inscription.


i asked how much and the guy said 20$. I looked on ebay and Nixon cut auto's from official releases have asking prices of 400$ +


Itll cost 75 to authenticate and about 40$ to get made into a card by leaf but i think it will look great as it is my first auto of a president.

Great find! I just bought a Gerald Ford autographed book for $20 too. Can't go wrong with a presidential auto for the price of a blaster!

Yeah, Leaf encased cut would be perfect for it. I still need to look into that service. Does it have to be PSA authenticated or will Leaf also take JSA stuff. Not even sure what service is cheaper for just authenticating.

auto was folded around cardboard backing
which over time turned the paper brown.

You can have JSA or PSA authenticate the auto. or instead of sending then it yourself, Leaf
