Though I find it amusing that you guys keep finding new ways to incorporate the f-word into variations that the swear filter doesn't recognize, don't you think it crosses the decency line just a little? We've got a good thing going here... don't mess it up.

You can turn the swear filter off and on.......so what's your point? If they don't want swearing here, maybe they shouldn't have the option to turn it off and on.

I think his point is clear...on or off, swear filters are not perfect...so think before you click submit.

This board is extremely relaxes when it comes to hammering people for swearing, we just ask that people are reasonable.

1. Swearing and Profanity are allowed to a certain extent, although this is a family oriented site and abuse will not be tolerated. There is a filter in place as well to help control the harsh words. Basically if its too bad to be said, the swear filter will *bleep* it. F-Bombs and some of the more extreme words used in succession may cause a short suspension.

If people think about overall community implications and have the sense to police themselves (something I've mentioned earlier) we wouldn't have this problem.

Perhaps, but I don't think most rational people think that variations of the f-word are appropriate in most public settings...and that's just an opinion.

You think an 8-year-old could tell what the photo was? You're the only adult here that ever made sense out of that considering the cropping of it.

Face palm all you want, I could show it to 100 children and I'm guessing the number who could recognize it would be less than 1.

If I thought you were remotely serious instead of playing a bastardized version of Devil's Advocate I'd consider changing it.

I think my thoughts were pretty clear in my last post... we've got a good thing going here, especially compared to the other site in question in this thread. Acting like children will only result in us being treated like children and I don't really think that's what anybody here wants, is it?

Ok, so maybe an 8 year old wouldn't be able to tell what it is, but any older person (say older than 13) with a 1/2 functioning brain should be able to tell that it's a person standing there with their head getting blown up. I see a brown jacket with a maroon shirt with a few buttons on it....my brain tells me, Tim, that's a person getting their head blown up.
