One more thing that I think needs clarified.....so you can call someone a moron for using a variation of the F word because you want to keep a good community??? But yet you have a picture of someone's head getting blown up in your sig??? I'm sorry, but if my child were to wonder to this site, I would MUCH rather have him/her see the F word (which they probably already heard dozens and dozens of times in their life) than a picture of someone's exploded head.

That's just my opinion, take it for what it's worth.

Are we 8 years old? Are we not intelligent enough to think of equally comical ways to express dissent without cowering to variations of the f-word?

All of that said, if a member submits a PM or report about a post, it is our duty to review and resolve in the most logical ways. Are some requests more petty than others? Perhaps, but I don't think most rational people think that variations of the f-word are appropriate in most public settings...and that's just an opinion.

Am I offended by it? No, but I didn't respond on my behalf, but on behalf of others.

You think an 8-year-old could tell what the photo was? You're the only adult here that ever made sense out of that considering the cropping of it.

Face palm all you want, I could show it to 100 children and I'm guessing the number who could recognize it would be less than 1.

If I thought you were remotely serious instead of playing a bastardized version of Devil's Advocate I'd consider changing it.

I just showed it to my 4 year old daughter and her response was "EEEEwwwwwww". I didnt tell her what it was...

I think my thoughts were pretty clear in my last post... we've got a good thing going here, especially compared to the other site in question in this thread. Acting like children will only result in us being treated like children and I don't really think that's what anybody here wants, is it?

My problem with this entire situation is the fact that you seem to be pushing your moral ideal onto the rest of us. It clearly states in the ToS that the behavior you reported is allowed.

Exactly. Kind of sad that this is the first time I've ever seen football have a "problem" with the "language" before. My biggest fear for this place is that it slowly turns into an SCF. Nothing wrong with policing a community, I get that. But you're looking to get offended billy.
