Needless to say nice pick up, would of been more of a steal a few years ago.

Not to throw-off the thread but did Clemens admit his guilt or test positive for steroids (as I never heard either of those confirmed)? The supposed air-tight proof (used syringe with Clemens blood & roid's in it & some bloody gauze) was provided by a black-mailing trainer who had access to used syringe's from Clemens playing days & he had access to steroid's also....where is it to say that anyone can be 100% sure without a reasonable doubt that McNamee/the trainer (who was down on his luck, getting divorced, & in financial ruins) wasn't lying???
There are way too many holes to this accusation but the media got ahold of it & ran with it. Roger Clemens, who is the overpaid superstar phenom with a tough unapologetic attitude, was immediately labelled the "badguy" who must be taken down a notch (so McNamee must be telling the truth & Clemens is automatically guilty before the scenario could even fully play out)! Is there any chance that McNamee saved those syringe's & blood for any hidden agenda (probably not, as most trainer's around the world save these things as memorabilia & keep-sake's to show thier grandchildren :? )?
I suppose there is no chance that McNamee could have taken one of Roger's used syringe's from a dose of any number of legal injection possibilities (from pain-killer's to supplement's, etc) that he saved from the past & filled it with a little bit of an illegal steroid substance??? There are so many things that could have occurred which is why this wasn't an "open & shut" case, McNamee's initial saving of these materials shows intent to blackmail Clemens at a future date... Whatever occurred to trigger McNamee to come forth could have been anything from: 1. McNamee being implicated in the steroid ring by authorities & him using his story about Roger as a bargaining chip to save his own arse, to 2. McNamee hitting rock bottom after his wife left him & being in financial ruin's so he decides to make a quick buck with this juicy fairy-tale (I wonder how much he's made by selling his story to the media outlet's? I'm certain, if there isn't already, that we're gonna see McNamee's headshot on the cover of a book titled something along the line's of:
Roger & "Mee" )...
Anyhow I'll stop here as this story has been regurjitated so many times on this board & throughout the media that it doesn't resemble the initial story! Sorry for the novel but I was just sharing a point of view that is never expressed here on the board's (the media's influence has a strong grip) but I thought I'd reply to the above statement: "Yes he is a juicer" because I wanted to see if there was new information or actual proof that shows Clemens was indeed a juicer (because last I heard it was all circumstantial & accusatory)...
GREAT CARD bro, don't let the hater's make you doubt that!
