I can't wait for Aubrey Huff to be traded...

I'm so sick of this guy's lack of hussle. And to boot, he's putting up mediocre numbers.

I'm tired of watching him hit a ground ball and NOT EVEN half-ass it down the line. I'm tired of watching him take a baby step off first base when he's holding the runner on and someone hits a grounder not far to his right and he just watches Brian Roberts not even come close to fielding the ball b/c it was HIS ball.

Someone take him off our hands. I'd rather have a guy like Corey Patterson (man I loved when he was an O) who runs hard every play he's involved in at first base hitting .250 than this clown.

End rant.

EDIT: Obviously I know Patterson isn't a 1B. But even he is a better option right now.

Ok...well I'll play I guess. ~He has more RBI and hits than Tulowitzki and Tulo plays in Coors Field half the year~

I'll tell you what, Huff for Tulo straight up. You can be his #1 fan.

...see, I show you what it feels like and you prove to be a joke...

I'm sorry Tulo is better.

The first part, I have no clue what you are talking about, or even understand the sentence for that matter.

The second part, I'm sorry you didn't see through my mockery. My point was Tulo is clearly the better player, hustles and acts like he wants to play every game - just like Markakis. Numbers are irrelevant.

I didn't think I would have to spell that out for you.

Why not promote Brandon Snyder?

Huff is a very slow runner. Has been like that all of his life. He's recognized for power. Like you, Markakis8, I hope to see Huff to be traded for a couple of prospects. I wouldn't be surprised if the Red Sox gets him because Varitek is pretty much chronically injured.

Besides Huff, Melvin Mora is just AWFUL. Hasn't hit a HR in 38 straight games, and he's pretty much done. Last year of his contract with the O's, and I would be VERY happy to see him walk away...

Huff will most certainly be traded - 90% sure on that. Problem is 2010 FA list looks like a who's who for the National ****** Convention.

Mora MIGHT be our best option for 3B next. Unless we let him walk and let Wigginton play everyday and I'm just not sold on his defense for everyday play at third. Pedro Feliz and Adrian Beltre are FA next year and I wouldn't mind signing them base SOLELY on their defense and if they could hit 15-20 HR's, great. Beltre could also benefit from hitting in the bottom of our order and a shorter porch in left. No way do we pay them they money they are going to demand though and it should be short term contracts.

The best option for 1B next year is either Snyder....OR...how awesome would it be if we landed VMart and moved him to 1st permanently? That would cost quite a penny though.

Yah 3B and SS are our definite holes in the future and really isn't any help down in our farm system to make me feel comfortable about it.
