I would go 07 chrome draft. You would hit some top prospects in the base set(Bumgarner, Heyward, Price, Laporta, etc.) and will also get a auto. The other sets have great auto checklists but the base chrome set is less to be desired. You run a chance of hitting a not so great auto and your box is ruined. Take the base chromes and hope for a decent auto in 07 draft.

I'm not a prospector, but I've seen enough of these threads to tell you that some of the best advice I've read is to go buy a baseball prospect guide. It'll give you the stats and rankings of many of today's prospects, and you can use that to figure out which year is more loaded (in your opinion). Where your opinion comes in is finding which prospect looks good to YOU in the semi-near future.
The #1 thing I WOULDN'T do is go out buying a box without knowing what to look for and just hoping to "hit someone".

2008 Bowman Draft Picks and Prospects. Amazing Auto checklist, as well as sokme great base chrome cards. Plus, you have the chance at some decent AFLAC autos.
