I don't follow unlicensed cards, but how old is this picture in a 2014 product??

Yadi's had a lot more tattoos on his arms than the one on his wrist for a long time now, years.

Did they use a current picture and just photoshop then tattoos off his arms? And if so, why? He has no offensive tattoos on his arms, and if you're going to photoshop one, why not remove all of them instead of leaving the one on his wrist?

Is this even Molina's body, or is it just his head placed on someone else's frame, and photoshopped?

Is this common practice for Prizm?

It's Panini - they're just used to airbrushing everything off.

So if a player has an MLB logo tattoed on them, would Panini and Leaf have to airbrush it off?

This is part of BG's argument in general, he's taking pics of the players, the logo's just happen to be there.

No, because its another artists work.

Same goes for hockey masks that have team logos on them

WWE edits out all of CM Punk's tattoos that are legitimate logos of other companies. He had two prominent tattoos on his shoulder, a Pepsi logo and a GI Joe Cobra Commander logo. And on all of their toys, promo shots, and PPV posters, they edit them out. I'm assuming for copyright purposes. But I've never read anything about it.

Maybe they decided not to show up on the toys, promo shots, and PPV posters?

One could argue that with the nature of professional wrestling that each person is a character and therefore subject to copywrite laws.

Nah, it's advertising. You think Vince would do something that might lose him a sponsor?

IN THE GAME shows the masks without any airbrushing

Yeah, sorry if I wasn't clear. You're right, ITG does it. I actually love the mask cards.

It's the same reason UD can do art cards featuring players in pro uniforms.

Each wrestler's gimmicks that Vince and WWE create on their own are trademarked and copywrited by WWE, so they can't be used elsewhere, even by the person portraying the character, after they leave WWE. Some wrestlers when they sign with WWE are forced to turn the rights over to their gimmicks, like the Dudley's. They used it prior to WWE, but cannot use it after leaving.

It's a huge weird roundabout situation in a lot of cases.
