They showed him all throughout the draft today, heck the guy even changed shirts among other things to try and help his karma. Honestly, unless the guy is getting picked for sure I dont like how ESPN shows them every 30 minutes for 8 hours. Then at the end they just show him sitting there in desperation, I know someone will disagree. However, I felt bad for the kid.

I completely agree with you. It was kinda like last year's draft with Brady Quinn. He got invited to the actual draft, because they thought he would get drafted within the top 5 picks, well he got drafted 22nd. I can not imagine how hard that is for both of them.

Brady Quinn was a completely different story.....didn't feel bad for him....he's a ND guy  ....but they kept showing Hoyer because ESPN buys into idiots like Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay......neither of those dumb asses know what they are talking about.......I'm pretty sure most scouts for NFL teams and NFL Management (with the exception of my Oakland Raiders  ) know more about players then both of those idiots do.

poor kid we were watching it from the hospital and I could not help but hope every pick was going to be the one to pick him up. Poor kid I hope he gets picked up somewhere.

He'll probably be better off being a UDFA. But I would be shocked if ESPN ever does that again. It was the same with the Quan Cosby thing, and a similar thing happened yesterday with Everette Brown, as he slipped late into the 2nd.

They are not scouts. They do work and their title may have changed, but for the longest time Mel Kiper was a Draft Analyst. They take info from scouts and compare to former drafts to make their rankings.

What happened with this kid? I didn't watch today. Did they keep showing him in the audience or something and he was never picked?

They had a camera in his house and he was watching the draft. They checked in periodically and he went undrafted. However, he went UFA to the Pats which is a good thing for him since his competition will be Kevin O'Connell and Matt Gutierriez

What makes you say that? Anything as an example?

Lame. I do feel bad for the kids when crap like that happens. Seems to be happening more and more the last handful of years in the NBA and NFL drafts. Not quite the same as this example, but people being on camera and sitting there for a few rounds looking more and more disappointed. What position does he play? I've never even heard of him.

Micah's still unhappy that Mel got his hopes up about Mike Williams (WR) being a future NFL hall of famer.

Mike William's problem is that he is a lazyass with no work ethic.

In the pros:

Chansi has 3 TDs in one year of playing. Mike Williams has 2 and is unemployed. The only thing he has over Stuckey is a fat contract that he should be set for life on.
