I finally got to meet my man crush... Montero : )

Went to the Trenton Thunder game tonight and I finally got to meet Jesus Montero. The guy is huge!

He came over to me and signed 1 OMLB ball for me and 1 for my g/f ...he was kind of surprised to see a young female there asking for his auto. There were some other kids next to me and he made them say please for an auto...it was pretty funny. The kids were scared of him.

He then went to work out and when he came back he signed a base chrome card for me. It was funny because he looked at the card and started showing it to some other Thunder players. He started reading the back of the card, it think he never seen one of those. I told him I'd be at Tuesday's game and would bring him some base/chromes if he wanted them of himself. He smiled and said sure. I didn't tell him that I ahve over 100 autos of him, because i still want him to sign more balls for me when I go next time.

When I was there Friday night, he signed 2 cards and a Baseball America photocopy that I was getting for a friend. Since there were about 35 of us, he signed quickly. He would only do 1 per on sweet spot balls and up to 3 cards. He signs really well when there is less people.

well the first time he signed 1 ball for me and 1 for my gf (which is for me). he then signed a second time and that was when i got him to sign the card. I don't know if he will sign more than 1 item each time. I think he didn't realize he signed for me a few minutes before.

I would guess he would sign more than one, he seems like a nice dude.

The best nights to go are Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday is usually a bobble-head night when they have it, Thursday is fireworks, and Friday the crowd is filled with kids. After the game on Monday and Tuesday is the best and also the 11:05 A.M. starts are so easy to get autos after the game.

I got there at 6:30pm last night and I was the only guy next to the dugout. 2-3 kids came after I got him to sign for me. It was pretty dead but, that was probably because it was raining just before then.

This week you will have a chance at Montero, Bumgarner and Alderson...maybe Posey?

I will be there for Reading and Delmarva is in town tomorrow. I am going to Conn. V. Trenton Tuesday and Wed. night. I am going to see Delmarva the next time they come around which is Jun. 24th or so right? I will be there for Reading though.
