Centering isn't the big issue with Myers Chromes. I'm up to 20 base Chromes and the surfaces looks like the end result after my cat thought it had catnip.

Also, I love it when sellers are reasonable and are able to negotiate

NO, trust me the scanner was just that bad.

If it auto-crops, then gilmore is right, you're failing at using the scanner software.

There's actually a seller that does something worse. He scans the Bowman Chrome card with a colored border behind it making it appear at first to be...say a red ref.
