I didn't even know that Fleer also played the "buyback" game...I love it!

Does anyone know how many were produced?

That's nice. What year and product would it have been released in?

That wasn't a buyback, it was made to look like 1993 Fleer in 2001.

I wouldn't consider that a "rookie auto" since Jeter wasn't in 1993 Fleer.

It's still a nice autograph...congrats!

The cert from fleer states "you recieved a 1993 fleer rookie"?
Anyway, still happy with the on-card auto. Pretty cheap trick of Fleer to state IT IS 1993 when in fact it isnt...
I guess there was a reason I didn't know it existed

The white shaded area is the giveaway. It was meant for an auto... the 1993 Fleer cards didnt have that.

Neat card, but like mentioned not a RC. That was pretty "sneaky" how Fleer put that on the COA card.

I may be wrong, but the COA is actually just the back of the card. So not really sneaking but can be made to look that way in auctions.

ahhh your right, that does appear to be the back of the card.

Fleer did the same thing with the 2000 Fleer greats of the Game autograph set. They issued a Jeter autograph years after the original release. Very shady practice and a real pain the a$% for set builders like myself :-(

Didn't Fleer do a Jeter through the Years autographed set where he signed various "What If" cards? I think that may be what this card may be. I am not 100% correct on that. Perhaps Bebe can clarify.

Original or not, that's a slick looking card. I think I'm a fan of the more basic look auto'd. It looks so clean.

I like this card as well. I picked one up a while ago. There is a buyback rookie coming out from UD just like Griffey's and its numbered to 93. Can't wait to pick one of those up!

I hadn't heard that about UD doing a Jeter buyback. What set is that going to be in?

I would love to pick one of those up...I can only imagine what they are going to go for though!

I am still a little confused...what is this picture of? Is it the same as the one i bought, or did Jeter have a 1993 fleer, or is this a different reprint??

Yea I also want to know what does the UD Jeter buyback going to look like? Is it going to look the same as this one?
