I was just browsing game used bats on the MLB shop thing and I noticed not one of the pink mothers day bats can be had for less than $300.I was really thinking og trying to nab one and saw a nice GU one of Adam Laroche but I would not pay that much for a GU bat.At least not of a guy of his caliber. Is there a reason these things are all so high?I see a lot of charity stuff for sale too but come one...a Jorge Cantu auto'd non-game used bat for $160?Seriously?Jeez.

Yeah.I actually saw a couple of the Royals mother's day bats going for $100.I understand you are paying not only for the bat or whatever significance it may hold but also the peace of mind that comes with buying from MLB.I just would love to get some nice gamers of even some mediocre players and everywhere I go I ether don't trust the source or don't think the price is within my means.Sure I could buy one of those bats right now but hey...I can't justify it.

I saw one of Luis Cruz and I was excited, until I saw the starting bid on $300 :(

Should be a tax write off as proceeds go to the SGK fund. I personally have no issues with my money going to that charity.
