If you read the text above the list at the bottom it says that it is Adam Jones and not Andruw Jones. So I think the voting is right just a mistake on the list.

I have a nice Juan Pierre signed gamer. I've also worn his WS ring from when he was with the Marlins. He was doing a signing here locally (he went to HS here, and his parents live here) and would let everyone wear his ring while getting their stuff signed.

Really stand-up guy, and I'm glad he's doing pretty well right now.

They both deserve it, but Jones numbers are better across the board. I believe Jones only trails Markakis in the majors for OF assists, or did the O's announces botch that one too?

Edit - Looks like they are tied for the AL lead in OF assists with 4 each.

I think there's more competition in the AL OF. and Erin, have you checked Upton's stats lately?

their numbers are pretty comparable, and I would argue that Justin has been more important to his team, because he's hardly had any other offense batting around him... unlike the protection Jones gets by hitting in front of Markakis.

Upton: 5th in NL in BA at .346__3rd in NL in SLG at .636__4th in NL in OPS at 1.051

Jones: 4th in AL in BA at .357__2nd in AL in SLG at .637__2nd in AL in OPS at 1.047

yes Jones has more RBIs and runs scored, but thats due in large part to the team around him. Upton has Jones in OBP too [.415 to .410]
