Upper Deck included redemptions in the cup for uncut sheets of pretty much their entire run. The cards come in a real nice frame and the sheets look pretty sweet. They're at the very least an unusual piece. However, I don't think they probably thought about this before offering up those redemptions.

While its a dumb thing to do to take an uncut framed sheet and cut them up, I can't really define this as scamming. They were upfront in the auction stating that the card was "professionally" cut from an uncut sheet. Oh well. Good luck to them for offering up an extremely weird oddity of a card.

Yeah, this seller isn't a scammer per se but he's almost implicitly condoning the scammers by selling these cards. It would be all too easy to buy these and put a jersey into the window, and I really think that the seller knows it.

Nothing like that could ever happen. Real, pack pulled Cup cards are very thick cards, like Exquisite. These uncut sheets of Cup cards are printed on a lot thinner card stock (Basically the thickness of a regular UD base card). These could never be faked with patches or jerseys either, as there actually isn't an open spot to put the patch. It just looks that way on these sheets, they are actually flush.

Never said anything about the seller. he is doing nothing wrong. I asked is it a scammers paradise? Meaning will the scammers find these listings as a heaven so to speak.

However Thanks to G$ for educating me on these cards. That makes sense now. Thanks for the info brother

Yeah i thought something like that could happen when i first heard about these sheets as well, but after seeing them IP at local shows a few times i could see that could never happen. UD gave these sheets out in packs of The Cup as a redemption. They came delivered already matted and framed and is actually quite an attractive display piece. I guess this seller just thought he could make more money by cutting up the sheet and selling them individually. I just am trying to figure out why hes calling them all 1/1's??? :? :benson:
